FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Real ingredients, straightforward answers. Everything you want to know about honest yogurt bites.

What are honest yogurt bites?

honest yogurt bites are freeze-dried snack bites made from whole food ingredients: greek yogurt, cottage cheese, egg whites, honey, and fruit. Two servings per bag. Around 100 calories per serving. 11 to 12 grams of protein per serving. That's the whole story.

How are they different from a protein bar?

Most protein bars are dense, processed, and built around a nutrition target. honest yogurt bites are built around real food. The ingredients are recognizable. The texture is light and airy from the freeze-drying process. They sit comfortably and taste like something you actually want to eat.

What does freeze-dried mean for the texture?

Freeze-drying removes moisture from the yogurt at very low temperatures, leaving behind a light, melt-on-your-tongue bite. It's not crunchy like a chip. It's airy and crisp, and it dissolves cleanly. Once you try one it's hard to describe it as anything other than good.

Do they need to be refrigerated?

No refrigeration needed. The freeze-drying process removes moisture, which is what typically makes dairy products perishable. Keep them in a cool, dry place and they're shelf-stable. Bag, desk drawer, gym bag, car cupholder. All fine.

How long do they stay fresh?

About 12 months from production in an unopened bag. Once opened, finish them soon. Given how they taste, that's usually not a problem.

What are the ingredients?

All three flavors share the same base: greek yogurt, cottage cheese, egg whites, honey, whey isolate, and inulin fiber. The fruit or cacao gives each flavor its character. Blueberry Burst has blueberries. Strawberry Cream has strawberries. Chocolate Mousse has cacao powder. That's it. Seven ingredients.

How much protein is in a serving?

11 to 12 grams per serving, sourced from greek yogurt, cottage cheese, egg whites, and whey isolate. Each bag is two servings. A full bag puts you around 22 to 24 grams of protein from whole food sources.

Are they probiotic or prebiotic?

Both. The greek yogurt and cottage cheese both contain live cultures, which makes every bite probiotic. The inulin fiber (from chicory root) is a clinically recognized prebiotic that feeds the good bacteria already in your gut. That combination in a snack is genuinely rare.

Are they gluten-free?

Yes. All three flavors are naturally gluten-free.

Are they good for kids?

Yes. Seven recognizable ingredients, nothing artificial, nothing hard to pronounce. A lot of parents buy them for themselves and end up sharing with their kids. Both tend to like them.

What sweetener is used?

Honey. That's the only sweetener in any flavor. Nothing artificial, nothing synthetic.
